No Fun For Chasers

The serious drought that we are currently experiencing is a menace. In normal years we should be receiving a good chance for rain this weekend. However, it doesn't look good. Why? Well, the only chance for getting some rain around here is if a warm front can ignite a few elevated thunderstorms here in Oklahoma. With most of the upper level energy staying WAY to the north of Oklahoma expect most strong storms to stay north of Oklahoma. Yeah, NORTH and not SOUTH. Its really scary to see all that energy stay to the North and not dig towards the south. This will not allow any good moisture to travel from the Gulf of Mexico northward. If this pattern does not break then WATCH out, because the Dust Bowl 2 is about to show its ugly face.
